I am well aware of the hostility grown adults have had towards this character since the 90s. Are we now living in a culture full of psychos that care nothing for children. You people are losing perspective. The shows aren't geared toward you and shouldn't be. Barney is better than many of the children's movies coming from Pixar and Disney that are geared towards exploiting children and making adults laugh. Can you not see the conspiracy in that?

Barney teaches about sharing and community, NOT individuality. There is more than enough "individuality" going around in the world and it is one of the main reasons why people are so divided and selfish. We need more of those "old-fashioned" values where people shared things they worked hard for. Now all you gotta do is go online and steal it. When you share something that's stolen, you gain nothing from it. And its a matter of time until your soul dies.

i wonder if there will ever be a generation that doesnt have people who complain that every other generation is so messed up and are going to ruin the world and drain society of life.

Every 10 years people say the same crap. They act like this is the time where everyone is full of hate and anarchy is just around the corner. The fact is, we have had a very peaceful half century, and the worlds problems are actually, for the first time in history, possible to be tackled with technology.

sure its not all made yet, but the generations growing up are learning incredibly advanced knowledge compared to 50 years ago, these kids are going to grow up and understand the worlds problems much better than 50 year olds today.

People are not any more divided and selfish than they always were. The world has just shifted to a digital era. Sure it seems like people are anti-social with their phones and not talking to eachother personally but thats basically all they are doing on those phones.

People live in a world where you can pick up something the size of your hand, and instantly connect (video) with someone and talk to them.

In 50 years, technology is going to be so advanced, that naysayers like yourself are going to be laughed out of conversations because everyone will know its you with the problem and not everyone else.
