It's still on the air, but none of the classic episodes air anymore.

haha yea but these are apparently the newer espisodes (I'm not sure when they were filmed). They are newer than the ones I grew up with - the better ones.

Well, if you watched them on Youtube, then those were the original episodes from 1992.

The show was on since 1992 . People move on . I kind of miss it. You can see the Backyard gang shows on YouTube.

Well you can see most of the episodes from the 1990s on PBSkids Sprout at 3am in the morning in America though.

Actually it's still airing at 12 pm on PBS and I think they're still making new epidsodes.

Sesame Street is 45 years old and they're still airing new episodes.

PBS Kids announced sometime ago that they stopped producing new episodes. The last episode, aired on September 18, 2009, is considered as the series finale. But, you can find plenty of the classic episodes on YouTube.
