well in the beginning of the movie at the Aurora Borialus (spelled wrong i know) party..Jay's characters mentions that theres plenty more fish in this puddle..and maybe its jus all of those guys "cruise the puddle" that is their college for chicks

If you're a big fish in a little pond, that's like the big man on campus. If you're a little fish in a big pond, it could be best described as the small town guy in New York City.In this context, the college is just a puddle, and looking for love, (or a one night stand) is the cruising. People who do this are "cruisers", hence the name "Puddle Cruisers"
It's a great college movie made on an indie budget. With a really talented cast.
I got a kick out of "Freaky Reaky"! What a character!

um you have to think dirty to get it. whats wet and alot of male college students want to stick they penis in lol. hope that was straight forward enough otherwise here is a shorter answer

its slang for vagina. puddle cruiser= vagina quest lol get it yet?
