This has been bothering me ever since I bought the DVD. Puddle Cruiser has the worst DVD art I have ever laid eyes on. I would swear it was for another movie except for the big "Puddle Cruiser" text on the front. The art has absolutly nothing to with the actual film. You might as well slap a big pair of tits onto every college movie cover(PCU, Rudy, Kinsey, Indiana Jones, ect). But it got me wondering if there are any more examples of horrible DVD covers.

I'd put Infernal Affiars as a close second because of its straight to DVD quality art. It looks like it should star Dolph Lungre and Steven Weber.

I think its a fantastic cover...as are all college based comedy covers that Use T+A or something similiar,why,because we're not gay dude.we like girls.

You could put a pic of Jon Favreau's big ol' moobs on the front of the Rudy cover for the T and A, right?

did you just refer to Indiana Jones as a college movie? I mean granted there are a few scenes that take place on a college campus, that doesn't make it a college movie. However I would love to take Dr. Jones for Archeology 101. 2 weeks into the semester and he leaves to find the lost staff of Amun Ra. That would clear up my wednesday afternoons for more ultimate frisbee and reruns of Small Wonder.

personally i think the cover sucked in the sense that it made it out to be yet another stupid frat boy movie. but it was quite the opposite, and im glad to hear that broken lizard really had no say in it. after club dread, they were beginning to disappoint me.

So BL says the studio put the cheerleader on the cover? Did they hope horny junior high kids would buy it because of possible tits? WTF is going on here?

yeah i think that was the point, to just get it sold. but it sucks because those type probably wont like it and then the people that actually would appreciate it, wouldnt think to buy it because of the insinuation of a "frat boy" flick.

Yep, thats exactly it!

I never saw this movie because i thought it was just some money-milking *beep* But after getting to know, and love, BL i finally saw it, and i thought "they made this movie i thougt it was just some lame-o crap".

On the other hand, none of the BL covers have really cought my interest, they all look like some dumb comedies. Which they are, the only difference is these are one of the few that are actually good.
