Heya all, i've watched this "documentry" several times in the past, and I am in fact, watching it as I type... And something that I NEVER did get was the ending... The credits I mean... First they say it is the REAL tape, and THEN they say that the characters in it where actors.... I really don't understand lmao... And they even showed the "actors" at the end asking if anyone has seen them to ring the number... What?! Lmao xD

Also... I'm sorry, but to me this video will always be a fake... The lazers used throughout are obviously cheap lazer pens, used in presentations and by little kids etc.... (U cud change the tops to be little pictures lolol) (If they were real, they would have burned the camera lense when it touched it... Duh lmao xD)

Also, that little girl at the start... When she said: "That was fun Grandma" ... Oh come on! That was sooo rehearsed! (And the camera conveniently placed to show us her emptying out the bullets, and then cutting out AFTER she had done it.... DUH Lmao, and why didn't Billy take the cam with him to get the batteries lmao? Silly -.-)

There r a million different thingies to mention, but I have to mention the Alien at the end... Waving to turn off the camera... Why wud "it" leave the cam there? What a goosie lololol... =P

Sorry to be a spoil sport =/// But it's far too fake for me to believe =/ I'll be interested in anyone out there challenging everything i've said (giving a good reason for all of it), i'd LOVE to hear what ya have to say =))

P.S. The people halfway thru who give mini comments, like the policeman and Musician etc... Mostly saying how REAL it is... Or: "There is no plot line, other than... Getting the Hell out of the house..." ... Erm... HELLO!? Isn't that a friggin' plot line? Hehe, sorry... I'll stop now ^^ I apologise if I am wrong on any of my points =))

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the movie. I was 100% sure I had seen at least two of the actors somewhere(in a movie) and then they asked if anyone had seen them?! But btw that was a good move, it made the movie kinda... real.
The girl gave away the movie probably more than everything else. Little children are either brilliant or completley suck as actors. There are so many examples most of them disscused in this forum...but the end when they asked if anyone had seen them and all those people "seriously" disscusing the tape really confused me.

P.S. What does "Lmao" mean?

My comment left on the film exactly said the same thing about the credits. I mean, come on! Blair Witch (another fakeo) didn't give the character played by an actor, they used the actual actors names so they didn't need to say who they played. I feel the film was entertainment in its own right, and the actors did do a convincing job. Yet I shouted at the television that the camera can't zoom in automatically as it does at the end... and as for the sharpness of the screen! God! Especially for camera's back in 1998, the screen would not be as sharp, the images picked up would be much more pixelated.

Thats my go at the film! But I do feel it was entertaining... much for a laugh anyway!
