I might be missing something here but why is Matthew billed as Matthew McPherson? I thought he was Melanie's (I think) boyfriend and therefore not a part of the immediate family or a McPherson.
Matthew is the tall black guy right? I remembered the conversation with Kurt complaining that she should have told them he was black. Is this a mistake?

Besides IMDb gets things wrong all the time - they probably didn't know what his surname was and billed him as a Mcpherson.
