Who would YOU have casted?

If you were given this mini-series project, had a good effects budget and such, but all you had to do was pick the cast: what would yours be?

Paul Atreides: Alec Newman
Jessica Atreides: Sigourney Weaver
Stilgar: Alexander Siddig
Duke Leto Atreides: Liam Neeson
Duncan Idaho: ?----> No idea, but I always imagined him as black. I know this is against the novel, but I always did. So I'd personally cast probably Samuel L Jackson as Duncan.
Feyd-Rautha: No idea, but it would probably be a newcomer.
Baron Vladimir Harkonnen: Paul Dooley
Doctor Wellington Yueh: Avery Brooks
Thufir Hawat: Andrew Robinson
Piter De Vries: David Warner
Gurney Halleck: David Bowie
Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV: Patrick Stewart
Princes Irulan Corrino: Rachel Weisz

Gurney Halleck - Brendan Gleeson
Thufir Hawat - Gary Oldman
Baron Harkonnen - Richard Griffiths
Duncan Idaho - Simon Baker
Alia Atreides - Abigail Breslin
Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam - Claudia Cardinale

If we are talking hypothetically:

Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV: José Ferrer...no offence to the new Emperor or anyone elses choices. Also I would cast Virginia Madsen as Princess Irulen as I thought she was wonderful and underused in Lynch's version.

I love the idea of Jose Ferrer as the emperor.
