I hate the Paul character as a whinny little bitch. I read the book and he doesn't come off as that.

The production could have had a better muscial score like they had in Children of Dune.

They could have at least bought stock footage of REAL desert fly-bys.

And the costumes, come on. All the money sunk into that could have been spent on better special effects i.e. the Fremen eyes.

I loved how Shaddom IV and his guests evacuated to the near-by store and captured buying new clothes to wear for the final confrontation with Paul, who wore his best toga just for the occation.

The 1984 film will always be the best...until someone can do a better adaptation to the BIG SCREEN!
