What would be your Dune cast??.

For these characters i haven't found actors yet.

I'm not going to go through all of them, but someone else posted that Rabban should be Ethan Suplee. I think that's a good choice. Vincent Cassel is good at being mean and all that, but I see Rabban as being kind of fat. You?

I'm sure everone sees the dune characters differently.

I see Feyd Rautha as a first class psychopath that even the baron has a little fear about.
Someone that doesn't care to murder his own mother.
Kind of like Jack The Ripper.

I see Glossu Rabban as a crazy wildman who desperatly wants to look just like Feyd. Kind of a copycat. and someone who will do everything to acomplisch that goal. But i don't really see him as fat. Muscilair. Something of a wrestler maybe.
So for the part of Glossu Rabban i would choose Vincent Cassel.

What's your favorite dune villain by the way??.

Hayden Christiansen as Paul?

Didn't you see the Star Wars movies? Did that look like acting to you? All that sniveling and whining and leaden delivery?

Oh well, no accounting for taste.

Perhaps Thufir Hawat could be played by C-3PO...

I think Hayden Christensen is a great actor.
And i would choose JAKE GYLLENHAAL as LETO 2.

So who would you choose as Paul.
And please don't say ALEC NEWMAN!!!!.
Because he wasn't that great a character either.

Young Alia Atreides: Dakota Fanning

GOOD GOD NO! ARE YOU INSANE???!!!!

She is quite possible the most annoying person I've ever seen on TV or movies. Please, for the love of all that is holy, no way! No way! NO!!!!

Rest of the cast looks OK, though. Though I might consider Shia LaBoeuf in lieu of Hayden Christiensen for the role of Paul.

If Plan A doesn't work, you should have a Plan B, not Plan A recycled

I take it you've not seen Jumper then?
For even suggesting Hayden for another acting job ever again you should be ashamed of yourself.

He was cutting it close in Revenge Of The Sith. He totally lost all credibiltiy after Jumper.

Giovanni "played Phoebes brother in Friends" Ribisi?
Sorry but after having seen him play that role I've never been able to take him seriously as an actor since.
