William Hurt (Spoiler)

I just saw the whole 4 hour film and one thing I dont get is that William Hurt is advertised as the main person. I saw the VHS version. His name is big on the box and there is a picture of him on the back. He dies like 80 minutes in.

I would presume because he is likely the most well known 'name' in the production.

Not to mention, elephant in the room time, he is totally miscast.

William Hurt should never be cast for a character who is anything but stoic.

Hurt was just phoning in his " performance". He's been terrible for the last 19 years (starting with Lost in Space). I hope we never see him again in any motion picture!

Who even enjoys watching him onscreen ??? As soon as I see him as part of the cast of a movie my interest in that movie is immediately diminished.
