I'm American. "Only victory for the Brits..."? What about the battle of Britain? D-Day on British-assaulted beaches? Caen? North Africa? British navy v. German navy?
The Brits definitely made many contributions to the war, and plenty I have not mentioned or don't even know about! WW2 is called a WORLD WAR (by those who label it as such) because so many different countries contributed in different ways!

the Brits defeated the German luftwaffe which was the most powerful air force in history up until that point. Obviously I was exaggerating in my original post , the Brits also dealt Rommel defeats in North Africa no small feat .
