something I just realzied...

1st off, YES I know Shattner costarred in the movie and YES I understand the reference in the title "Free Enterprise" but something I noticed while I was watching Trekkies 2 was that I didn't give much notice about the Star Trek references in Free Enterprise as much as I did about the Star Wars, Logan’s Run & the statement that Nova was the hottest sci-fi girl ever (which I totally agree with )

Mostly because of the following:

I lost interest in Star Trek sometime during the mid-80's but never was a Trekker/Trekkie, actually, yes; I did make fun of them

I was turning 30 when I saw this movie, so I totally understood the crisis he was going thru & thought Logan’s run was a great reference

the ending sequence w/ the use of The Cult's "She Sells Sanctuary" mixed in w/ Logan's Run was *beep* SWEET!

I should really get around to renting this movie again, yeah, I thought the Shattner rap was pretty stupid, but the rest of the movie definetly made me laugh and relate.


SHADDUP! IT'S GONNA GET GOOD!
