got the 'five year extended edition 2 disc set' today...

I was working at Wondercon in San Francisco today at one of the booths, but was able to go to the FE: EE panel they had. I'd already talked with Mark A. Altman yesterday, and damn is the guy cool, but then I also got to meet Robert Meyer Burnett and Daren Dochterman just before the panel started. We got to see what cool stuff had been added for the new release, then during a trivia session I won a DVD! I already got Mark's and Daren's signatures on the cover, and hope to get Robert's tomorrow. For the record it comes out 7 March 2006 everywhere, including Amazon and Best Buy, apparently (in joke). The Best Buy version is supposed to have even more stuff, for the record.

I also found out that the sequel will be called (as of now) just Free Enterprise 2... no "My Big Geek Wedding", no "The Search For Shatner", and no "Kill Bill Shatner". The guys are hoping to have it out by Star Trek's 40th anniversary in September of this year.

Thanks for sharing Brand Eks. So I guess BB is the place to get it huh, might as well get the best value for my extra $$$ since I already have the orginal.

So will the sequel be on dvd then or will we have to wait for the markets that see it in the theaters?

Hey guys are you talking about the beautiful set that came ou today? I was really hoping for a sneekers at the new movie! This is absolutely hands down uncontrollably the best trek fandom film of all time! Any clue if they will be filmong at trekcon this year?

Did they say if they've already begun filming FE2???

I enjoyed Free Enterprise, and want to pick up the DVD... so thanks for mentioning Best Buy had extra stuff beyond the "basic 2 disc" set! Will def. have to pick up my copy from Best Buy.

I still chuckle over Brady Killer... that is probably my favorite bit of the entire movie because it is a bit that even non-trek fans get!

I loved the film, and im about to buy the new dvd that came out yesterday! at first I thought this was kind of a b-rated movie (which it isnt) and now its ranked 386 in the best selling dvds at amazon!

The sequel, as far as I know, should be in theatres. I'll question Mark and Robert more about it when I see them in San Diego (if I get to go).

I was under the impression they will be filming in vegas later this year.

Cool, I just hope they will be done fast like the new Rocky film (I think they only taped in 28 days).. does anyone know what the plot for Free Enterprise 2 is?
