Free Enterpeise 2006
Last time I checked the IMDB, there were plans for a sequel to begin filming in 2006. WTF? Is it still on , or has the project been cancelled?

All of the information on both IMDb and Wikipedia are gone. Plus, I can't find anything on it by searching Google.
The disappearance of the IMDB entry is not a good sign.
The coming sequel is still referenced on the MindFire site, http://www.mindfireentertainment.com/coming.php.
Also, this official page, http://www.ludovicotechnique.com/featurefilms.html, includes the note: "Legends on the Edge of Forever / Free Enterprise II / Look for an exciting announcement regarding the FREE ENTERPRISE sequel!".
(Cognoscenti will recognize the play on the title of a classic episode, "The City on the Edge of Forever". Which again begs the peripheral question, whatever became of Ellison's TLDV? But let's not go there...)
I suppose it would technically constitute an "exciting announcement" if we were to be told that the project had been canned. But one would hope for something better than that.
The project's been canned an "Exciting announcement"?!?! Someone's got a demented sense of humour. I just hope the powers that be come to their senses and resume this project. A sequel would be too cool for words.
