So I remember watching this movie on the Space channel and enjoyed it. This quote always stuck in my mind and so i just watched the movie again today and it wasn't on there.. am i making things up or did i get a different version?

It's one of mark's huge spiels about love and how it's made up because when women orgasm they get shot up with some hormone and when men orgasm they get shot up with something that makes them want to sleep.. am i dreaming? I think it happened when he came over to Robert's house and found him laying on the floor....

I believe the exchange you are referring to can be found in Employee of the Month (2004 version). It's in a rant by Steve Zahn to Matt Dillon, and it's hilarious.

See, man's brain shoots him a natural tranquliser when he gets off, tryptophan (sedative), get out, roll over and fall asleep.
Chicks hate us for it anyway cause they're the exact opposite cause when they come, they want to chit chat, cuddle, funshway the god damn living room, why? Oxytocin, it's a bonding chemical, it's a natural stimulant, gets em high as a japanese kite.
