Hey buzz. I haven't seen this film but I took a look on IMDB for you;
I checked the listings to see if any actress was credited as a 'bridesmaid'. None.
So I checked the photo album and seen this pic;

late in the film maura tierney gets a phone call and she is standing on a spiral staircase and a friend is standing to the left of her, a brunette, who says something like 'things will be okay' or something like that. I will pull it up again and look more closely, but in that passing moment she looked like an absolute stacked knockout, possibly middle eastern judging from her hair and skin but i may be wrong.
i'm gonna pull it up now and see if i can narrow it down.....

i guess the low light made her look olive skinned
not as slam dunk as i first thought lol. nice wide hips though. and decent boobs too, it seems.

but my mind filled in the blanks and had me looking for a middle eastern babe with olive skin.

I opened up the film (the internet is a wonderful place) and skipped to the part you were talking about, it's indeed Julie Ivey in that picture I posted. The dim lighting does make her look more exotic than she is in real life. Also she was in her prime back in 1999 it seems. Not many photos of her available on google image search but she's not quite the stunner she was back then.
Yeah she looks good in the scene, very nice figure.
