Does he merry Bridget?

Does anyone know? Bridget or Sarah?

He comes back to Bridget and Sarah disappears from his life. I found that quite confusing, because I thought he would apologize to Bridget and go away with Sarah, as obviously, they suited each other much more, but oh well. That's what happened...

No, it ended exactly the way it needed to.
Just listen to what he says to Bridget about his feelings.
And they DID run away from the crazy family situation
and got married on their own.
Sarah came into his life when he needed her,
and he learned what he needed to learn.
Yes, it was bittersweet, and we feel for Sarah...
but she learned much from the encounter, too,
and her life is fine in the end.

You ought to watch the movie to find out, it's great...
Anyway, people always argue about whether or not Ben should've stayed
with Sarah and dumped Bridget. I think that's part of what they were
going for - causing a stir in the audience since everyone obviously
really likes Sarah.

"Her romantic prejudices have the unfortunate tendency to set propriety to it not."
