What in the WORLD was Lance taking that was 500mg? Most controlled narcotics are like 5mg or 10mg or something and even morphine pills go up to 30mg or something. What in the WORLD is 500mg?

He was talking about the acetaminophen portion of vicodin tablets, which are often prescribed as 5/500 (5mg narcotic, as you mention, piggybacked with 500mg of acetaminophen, or what is better known as Tylenol)

The Army prescribes 800mg ibuprofen, so it's not a big deal.
