Supposed to be a sophomore and they show her boobs?

I know she must have actually been at least 18 to be nude in the movie (although she did actually look like a soph, good stuff) but it's kind of weird that Tweeter calls them "naked sophomores" and her nipples come hanging out the passenger window. We are to assume that's a naked 15 or 16 year old.

You do realize this is a film and not a documentary, correct?

I watched this last night, and re-watched that scene with the girl in the cop car about 10 times.
She did not show her full breasts. No nipples, just the tops at best, and she clearly was wearing bottoms.
And furthermore, So What?
Most every girl that I went to high school with was having sex by freshman or sophmore year. Not everyone is an anti-social prude.
At my school if you didn't lose your virginity before 16 you were treated like a social outcast/loser.
High School kids have sex. Always have, always will.
They are not as innocent and clueless as adults like to believe.

Oh, no! Say it ain't so, Joe! My whole world is crushed. People have s_x????? Why didn't anyone tell ME about it??

reply

Don't be daft. People didn't have sex before 1900...

Thank goodness...I was pretty worried for a while there...

I'd be interested to know how old you are; if you're fresh out of highschool I can perhaps understand...if you're any older than that, I'd be remiss not to call you oblivious.

I find it hard to believe that "most every girl" (and by "most" I assume you mean at least a simple 51% majority, possibly more) was having sex by their FRESHMEN or SOPHOMORE years of highschool...that is absolutely ridiculous. Did you see all of these girls have sex? Or personally have sex with all of them? Because if not, it's likely that you were either a) lied to, or b) completely misinterpreted 13/14/15 year old girl behavior.

Secondly, there's the difference between "has had sex" and "is having sex." Even if by some insane measure you were to undoubtedly determine that, say, 50% of the freshmen and sophomore girls in your school were non-virgins, you then have to separate those that technically experienced coitus and those that continue to have sex on an ongoing and regular basis.

Kids experiment, and girls are more likely to get involved with an older guy at a younger age, but the typical 13/14/15 year old girls is not really in a hurry to have sex with the first grubby boy that comes along. Furthermore, of the girls that even try sex and manage to technically lose their virginity, VERY few of them go on to involve themselves in ongoing sexual relationships for the next 2 or 3 years. I don't know what kind of world you think you're living in, but freshmen and sophomore girls are scared of, confused by, and apprehensive about sex. At least "most" of them are.

If in fact your school ostracized those who "hadn't had sex," it's far more probable that all these tales you heard of barely teenage girls having sex was a lie at worst, an exaggerated tale of some backseat fumbling at best. Fact: teenagers play up sexual experiences, especially at that age...1 kiss becomes "making out" when they retell the story...2nd base becomes 3rd...you get the idea. Beyond the embellishment of the participants, there's also the highschool rumor mill to consider. The fact is, as much as adults worry about sex (and drugs) in highschool, there is WAY less of it happening than they think. Yes it happens, and when it does happen it gets a lot of attention, but the majority of kids behave and experiment normally.

Again, I don't know what kind of highschool you went to or how far removed from it you are, but I would venture to say that you WERE NOT one of the sexually active ones. The ones who never had sex were the ones who always had the most foolish and bizarre interpretations of what teens who actually had sex did. Truth is, I was one of the (intermittently) sexually active kids in school, starting back in the 8th grade. And the reputation wasn't all it was cracked up to be. You scored some cool points at first, but once all the fakers realized that I could see through their own lies about sexual escapades, I was the one that was ostracized. And so were the girls I figuratively "slept with."

Sure, you might have some popular kids sleeping around, but it ain't like the movies, and they never drew attention to it. Those who us that actually had sex and then used that experience to try and gain actual clout were the ones that found ourselves ostracized. Why? Because MOST girls AND boys at that age like the idea of sex more than the act, most of them never seek out the opportunity, and even fewer go through with it when presented.

Honestly though, those of us who went ahead and had sex (and had it again and again with more than 1 or 2 partners) ultimately had stories that were a lot less gross than the kids who were willing to go through anything aside from actual sex. But believe me, whatever you may have been told, half of the 13-15 year old girls at your school were not having casual sex.

THANK YOU!

When I first read that post, I thought to myself "What planet is this person from?? Most of the girls were having sex? HAHAHA yeah right!"

By the end of sophomore year, only one of my friends had done anything sexual. When I graduated, only 3-4 girls (out of my group of 20) had done anything sexual. We all had boyfriends within Jr and Sr year, some of us more than one so we had the opportunity. Like you said, most girls like the thought not the act.

Not true. 16 year old Thora Birch went full topless in American Beauty the same year Varsity Blues came out.

3 yrs later but...

There are a number of films where girls under the age of 18 are topless or even 16. Most of these films tend to be European but all need parental consent. By U.S. laws for film, it's not considered child porn if it's an underage topless girl that has parental consent. As long as it's not considered as a sexual act or that genitalia is shown.

The same can be said in reference to teen girls sending nude "topless" images of themselves to others via by other means ie electronically, etc. BUT it also depends on the discretion of a prosecutor whether such images constitutes as a sexual act. Showing underage nude breasts via on film or other means isn't against the law and can be considered within the confines as art. Example, topless baby and toddler pics in just diapers or topless girls as old as 7 or even older. But there could be legal trouble if an overzealous prosecutor is interpreting the law with a wider basis. 25-30 years ago, no one thought much about such images, but in the recent past in this century, parents have been charged with having child porn whether it be a topless child or a topless mother holding her baby because an overly concerned photo developer at a drug store alerted law enforcement even though the images are completely innocent. Today's society in the U.S. are just overly sensitive around children because the construed bar of what we now think to be sexual has been lowered a plenty.

Now a topless nude image or video in itself is not illegal but if it's part of a sexting msg, that msgs before and after an image that leads to something sexual in nature (sex act) or shows genitalia will get anyone who is a minor or involved with minors will most definitely be charged with possessing/exchanging child porn.

I knew a girl in high school that wore a 40DD bra as a freshman. How do I know this? Let's just say I have "first hand" knowledge (wink, wink...nudge, nudge). Just because a girl is in high school doesn't mean she has to have small breasts.
