Original vs Butchered TV Version

Netflix recently began streaming the original, uncut version (where he says "My N word" etc and several small scenes cut right out of the film) and wow, I had forgotten what a truly excellent movie the original is. This is one of the finest films ever made. The version they have been showing on TV (IFC etc) for years now has been a censored and cut version and has taken a masterpiece and turned it into simply a great movie.

Most filmmakers are never even fortunate enough to put out what the viewing audience perceives as a great film, even uncut, and here we have an absolute gem of a movie in its butchered up version, and when you rewatch the original uncut after seeing the cut version, you can see what a true masterpiece it is, and how the censors got hold of it and turned it into just a good movie.

This kind of thing really ticks me off.

Make sure to get it on BluRay then you don't have to worry about a censored TV version ever again.
