Just not funny enough..

There are some comedy and parody undertones, but as a whole this movie just isn't that funny. Or maybe I like my horror comedies to be more in your face and over the top, which I guess is at least partly true. But this one certainly didn't succeed in making me laugh a lot or even enjoy myself sufficiently to rate it as a good or underrated movie.

Actually I didn't expect it to be funny at all. The humor was a surprise and I found it just enough to lighten up a traditional big creature movie.
