Am I the only one who watches this over and over?

I LOVE this movie! I'm getting a 51" flat screen this week and Lake Placid will be the first movie I watch...True cult classic.

I don't know about "over and over" but I do watch this film at least once a year, sometimes twice. Great flick.

I don't actively watch it again and again.

But when it's on tv or I catch a part of it somewhere, I always end up watching it until the end.

It's definitely one of those movies you *can* watch over and over and still be entertained by.

I tend to watch it every time it is on and enjoy watching it, it is one of those movies you can watch over and over. I thought it looked kind of dumb when I first saw the previews and I did not pay much attention to it the first time I saw it but after watching a few times I really like it.

every time i catch LP on cable/direct tv i never change the channel to see which version it is _ there's one where deputy Hank (Brendan Gleeson) get's eaten by the gator but never see that one anymore or even referenced... a great film every bit as enjoyable as Jaws

Can't pass it up when it's on and I own the dvd!! Great cast meshes so well. Deserves a 7 at the very least.

I LOVE this movie, and also watch it whenever it come on. I'm so glad that my son convinced me to watch it and I have done the same thing with my friends, who also love it. I don't understand why it has such a low rating either. It' too bad because this is so funny, and not at all what people would expect... Oh well..

i'm generally of the opinion that the ratings don't really matter, but this is one of the few films whose rating I really shake my head at.

this isn't as good as Tremors, but it's in that ballpark

My thought exactly not as good as Tremors [what is?] but great fun - great cast and just love Bridget Fonda- miss her working.

I still find it entertaining. It might not be the best film by any means but it's a lot of fun.

I will watch it whenever it is on the movie channels and nothing else is on. This month its been on about 3 times a week. Great to fall asleep to in a good way. Like a cozy blanket...LOVE the sarcasm from all the major players! Especially between the Sheriff and Hector.

Here we are; a bunch of psychopaths helping each other out.
