Every time I hear Olyphant deliver this line I crack up:
"I understand that, ok. Let me just, ummm, you know, fill out a return slip here and I'll have the manager give you a refund."His delivery is such perfect ironic derision. Managers and return slips for sleazy drug deals. *beep* love it.
Todd's Cat: "You're Going To Die".
Ronna: "I need a favor".
Todd: "Wow, I didn't know we were such good friends, Ronna! Because if we were, you would know I give head before I give favors and I didn't even give my best friends head, so the chances of your getting a favor are pretty fu**ing slim".
Customer: "Don't think you're something you're not; I used to have your job".
Ronna: "Look how far it got you".
Todd: "What do you want for Christmas, Claire?"
Claire: "I don't know".
Todd: "Do you want to get laid?"
Claire: "No".
Todd: "No, you don't wanna get laid, or no, you do, but you don't wanna get laid - with me"?
Claire: You're making me an accessory!Â
Ronna: Okay Claire, that bracelet of mine you're wearing, that's an accessory.Â
Oh right...he's the good drug dealer. Sometimes I get confused.
shareA sleeper line I always liked -- and perhaps because of the absurdity of it -- when Jay Mohr says, as if it took a lot of deep thought, and will now *really* help to sort out the next few steps:
"OK, so either she's alive, or she's dead."
(Forgive me if I am paraphrasing slightly.)
Some great, great, under-the-radar acting in this one from Wolf & Mohr especially, and Olyphant as well. Fichtner, as usual, demonstrated that he can pull off any line from any script, no matter how ludicrous, and have you totally buy it.
"My mother's, mother's, mother was black!"
"This ain't roots, mother funkier!"
?I wanna see a picture of this Nubian Princess."
"What are you doing over here?"
"Raping small children!"
"You want us to sell Amway!?"
"Have I told you how much I like your jacket?" (sarcasm) and then others mistake him for a bathroom attendant and valet driver. Haha!
"I told you not to eat them shrimps!!" (as they're 'dying' in the toilet.)
"Where's Manny?"
(complete realization face) "Oh, *beep* me!"
Melissa McCarthy's entire scene!
The whole Simon getting shot scene. Todd's anticipation face is hysterical!

I LOVE this movie! It's one of my all time favs!! (I was in the same age group when it came out so it was very relatable.)
