This show was a masterpiece

who agrees?

I have seen loads and loads of excellent sci-fi shows, such as; The X-Files, The Outer Limits(new and old), Twilight Zone(new and old) Tales From The Darkside and just about anything believable, thrilling, and science fiction you can think of, but nothing has captured my heart - ever since watching Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction

This show is just spine chillingly epic in just so many ways. Jonathon Frakes portrays and plays an amazing host that really moves and trembles the audience in paralyzing fear from the 5 stories that we were told.

It terrified me when i was 10, and it still sends chills down my spine 12 years later whenever we get those "rare" marathons.

Quite possibly the best eerie/science fiction/reality based show I've ever seen in my life.

It's so sad that this show got canceled :(

Wow...I could NOT AGREE MORE with this message. I could nearly have said it myself, because that is precisely how I feel. I enjoy all manner of paranormal, supernatural, scary-story, and sci-fi shows, but somehow, the only thing that has remained as dear to me as Beyond Belief is Are You Afraid of the Dark? (Tales from the Darkside and Crypt, Goosebumps, & The Haunting Hour get very high marks from me as well; The Twilight Zone, Unsolved Mysteries, etc., of course, are also great...) This show will forever be one of my very favorite TV series of all time, literally. It's that great.

Beyond Belief is just the ultimately perfect series--what with its atmospheric set, Frakes' incredibly engaging hosting that sets the mood brilliantly, the hundreds of totally compelling and chilling stories that suck you in and stay with you forever, the game-play aspect, the absolute eternal re-watchability, the fact that the show can go from creeping you the heck out to making you cry or at least feel deeply...there's simply nothing like it. And it's a shame that it couldn't have lasted even longer. The show is something of a cult classic now, shamefully underrated or neglected by most. :( It ought to be required viewing for every person born. x3 The situations, settings, and characters are extremely well-established and developed (and frequently completely awesome), and mostly well-acted. Awesome music was even written for it.

This show has held a very special place with me since I was 10 years old, and with each passing year, I grow to cherish it even more. It possesses some indescribable, magical quality that sets it apart, something that nothing else has been able to attain.
