sharethis question should have at least a hundred answers by now
shareI think the reason is that this is so incredibly difficult to answer! ;) I don't think I could ever pick a single favorite from the dozens of standouts on this show...some are particularly moving, some are wonderfully chilling, and some just combine a lot of memories, feelings, and associations--representing to me the show's overall magic. That's why it would be so tough to name my "favorite story." ^^'
I like you, Um. I like largeness...share
The only complete season ive seen is the first season, because I have it on dvd, I wish they would put seasons 2, 3 and 4 out on dvd too, I really shouldn't have ever asked what other people's favorite story or episode is because I haven't seen most of them myself.
shareAw, that's okay! I own the complete series because years ago I was able to buy it on iOffer.com. I'm not sure whether there are any copies available anymore. They definitely should have released the other three season on official DVDs; why they started and then quit right away, I may never know. I did buy Season 4 from a German website because, for whatever reason, that was the only season that had been officially sold in Germany. The listing said that it included an English language track--alas, it doesn't. D: But, at least that means I've got a German copy of the one story missing from my complete set ("The Old Bike.") At any rate, I hope you're able to somehow see the rest of the show as soon as possible, whether on TV or a recording. :)
shareI like the one where the guy thinks he's a werewolf in the mental hospital and gets locked in a padded room and tears it up. I'm waiting for it to show up again on Chiller, but to no avail.
shareThe one where the woman dies and her husbands rescues her from the grave. She ends up giving birth to Robert E. Lee after that.

I guess I want to say that Town of Remembrance is my overall #1 favorite. I just love it; so memorable. It really sums up what I love about the show. It's well acted, very eerie...a cool, haunting story with a great twist and a lot of good lines. Love that diner with the old-fashioned gas station in front, and the cemetery, etc. Kinda cute, a bit funny...it was always one that I really liked. But, again...soooo many awesome segments, and there's not a one of the 225 total that I don't love! Whether the story was fact or fiction never seemed to have any bearing on how good the segment was; all were produced with the same effort to make them as cool as possible.

The entire series is still available on DVD--from several different sellers at different prices, it seems. All the prices are very low for an entire series! :D
And yeah, I couldn't agree more! I'm a little past the middle of re-watching it now...don't know how many times I've seen it, but it never ever gets old or boring...such a joy to put on.
Thankyou very much! , I thought I would never find the other three seasons, I had never heard of ioffer.com until now, it seems alot like Amazon.com which is where I bought the first season.
shareNo problem! iOffer is essentially the exact same thing as eBay, actually, so I still have no idea at all why it exists, lol. But for some reason, some sellers must prefer it to eBay, and that's where the Beyond Belief DVDs have always been sold. I was so grateful to whomever told me that a bunch of years back when I ordered my set, because otherwise I'd have been trying to record the whole show off of TV myself--and that would have been a bit of a pain. It stinks that Season 1 was the only officially released one, I know. (Well, in English, anyway. Season 4 was released in German, but when I bought THAT set, I learned that it DIDN'T include the promised English-language track.) They did that, then conked out...didn't even get to Jonathan Frakes, the BB poster boy. :P
