Apparently a true story anyone know about this where and who it happened to?

Which sisters story are you referring to--'The Fine Line' or 'Two Sisters'?

No disrespect to the show (which is fun) but I think the story of the two sisters and the wedding gown is so much hogwash.

There's an old urban legend called The White Dress in which a teen steals a white gown off the corpse of a relative during a viewing because the gown is exactly what she wanted to wear to her prom. During the dance at the prom, the teen passes out and dies because the heat opens her pores and embalming fluid gets in to her system.

Can't remember where I read it, but a story debunking this one says that it's not true and embalming fluid might sting a bit, but it couldn't get into your system or create an allergy.

Also, with regard to the episode itself, WHY didn't the husband say something on the order of "Where the HELL did you get that dress? She was buried in it!!!"

They don't teach anything at University. I had to recognize ducksh*t for brains by myself.

The premise has definitely been repeated in different variations. In one of the classic Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books, there's the tale of "The "White Satin Evening Gown," which is the same basic thing--woman buys dress that's been worn by a corpse during a viewing, is poisoned by embalming fluid. I would THINK that that would be possible...for some people, anyway. But I've never heard a doctor's take on the question.

Also, he did say to Rhoda as they walked down the aisle that the dress looked an awful lot like Camille's--he couldn't have an outburst like that because a) they were walking down the aisle, and b) he probably wasn't 100% sure that it was the exact same dress, or figured she could have bought the same/a similar one. All she says is that she hadn't noticed the similarity.
