The King Cobra is a shy and reclusive animal. Life expectancies wouldn't lower. Cobras aren't that big a killer when you look at how many people die each year.
When in doubt kill it.
oh really Reef-shark? Then i guess you didn't see the part where the professor speaks of how snakes kill more people in one year than sharks kill in 100 years. It seemed that the Cobra in the film was search and destroy.
