Shown in High Def on Showtime last month
I have no idea if it will be shown again, but it was presented in High Definition on Showtime last month. I DVR'd it and was astonished at how much better it looked. The non-anamoprhic DVD is truly the pits, with major Edge Enhancement issues. The HD transfer does not suffer such nonsense and even with the limitations of HD Cable bitrates, the image is miles beyond the DVD.
This film deserves a Blu-Ray release (in the United States. I am aware of the French release with forced subtitles).
