I am not drawing comparisons but I saw these just weeks apart and I felt both movies were psychological thrillers projecting the perspectives of the leads. I could relate more with Pi because of the premise and the treatment.

With me it's the complete opposite. I could really relate to Travis from Taxi Driver on a personal level.
I just came back from watching Pi for the first time, it didn't leave quite the impact taxi Driver did but it is still a really good movie nonetheless.
Taxi Driver was a good movie though.
I had high hopes for this then it was a complete let down. Really is one of the worst films i've seen.
