Just saw Birdman and found it incredible -- loved it.
Why was I reminded of this movie? At first I thought maybe it was because both were so intense and "thinking" movies, as opposed to escapism. But I feel the reason is deeper than that & there's more to it. Any thoughts?

Yes I jumped to this as I was watching Keaton "fly" in the theater. The two characters are similar in personality and I loved both of the movies fairly equally with Birdman pulling ahead
shareI thought that it reminded me of Barton Fink. Especially the ending. The way that they both ended as probably hallucinations that questioned the whole reality of the movie.
