'Texas A+M. I'm an Aggie.'

Any other Aggies out there who loved the little shout-out from the Coen brothers in this movie? It's one of the reasons I enjoyed this movie.

Spoilers:

When Billy Bob Thorton first said that line, I immediately began watching his hands for a glimpse of the gold Aggie ring (class ring), and I was shocked that it wasn't there (for non-aggies, it is a VERY important part of the Texas A&M community). I know the Coens are known for their attention to detail, so I immediately figured Thorton was a fake when he was without his ring! Thankfully he is revealed as only a soap star, so I didn't have to disown the Coens for slipping up on such an important detail!

I thought Billy Bob Thornton's character was a fake just because he was introduced so abruptly and explained so much about who he was.

Yeah, I guess I got a cheap thrill out of it, too
