Something that bothers me (SPOILER)
Why did Rex Rexroth's attorney call Miles when Rex died to tell him about his 4-year old will wherein Marilyn is the beneficiary. Uhh, I would think Marilyn would get the call too if not first.

EXACTLY
i was stumped when that was revealed.
maybe that's why she realised at the end, that Miles was sacrificing a lot by suggesting a new pre-nup. She knew that he knew that she was richer.
Also, that was also why she sounded extra cocky when she got the call from Miles saying to get out of the house. She had the Wheezer guy, but she knew that Miles had caught on to the will issue, and hence was so 'desperate' for her 'safety'. it would be like double revenge.
Well, there are two possibilities.
1. At the time she was rather pre-occupied with Wheezy Joe. Probably uncontactable, they called her husband (as he still was at the time) instead.
But why then could she answer the phone to Miles when he rang, I hear you ask. Well, by that stage the dogs has "contained" Joe, thus letting her take the call.
-OR-
2. It's a friggin movie and at times you have to suspend disbelief. Such as believing that a high powered divorce attorney marrying a known gold digger in the first place.
- Insert Poignant Quotation here -
To gloat that she had won in the end.
shareRex's atty would have to know that Miles and Marylin are mid-divorce, and it was simply "due diligence" to attempt to contact Miles about any legal matter involving Marylin.
