No chemical
The movie has good things until the trial where George Clooney wins bringing the Baron. Since that moment the film goes into a spin: bad dialogues, non sense situations and bad jokes makes it never ending. George Clooney can make you smile and laugh or make you serious, because he's a good actor, but he has no chemical with Catherine Zeta-Jones. As usual she's pretty and glamorous but cold, serious, shallow and unfriendly. I can't remember if she ever made me - at least - smile. She has no comic gifts. George Clooney takes all the heavy fire of the comic moments but he can't do it the whole film. For somebody like him you need a leading actrees like him. Unfortunately, thils film like many others, it's a wasted idea. You can't believe the Coen brothers made this. Tough luck.
