THIS MOVIE STUNK!!

I was waiting for some funny moments and none came. The acting was terrible, the effects also were pretty bad.

Why did his two friends come back alive? Why did his parents not? or the other victims?

Idle hands are the devils? Come on!!!!!

Terrible story, something is very wrong about this movie.

and the reason Mick&Pnub came back is because they were too lazy to walk towards the light...duh.

I thought the movie was hilarious, but i suppose it's personal preference. I thought the acting was also amazing, and the lead actor, i'm pretty sure this is the first thing i've seen him in and i was impressed. And the effects? What was wrong with them exactly, they were a bit cheesy, but that is the point.

Why did his two friends come back alive? Why did his parents not? or the other victims?

Because his stoner friends were too god damn lazy to go to the light, if you didn't get something as simple as that, no wonder you didn't appreciate this movie.

Terrible story, something is very wrong about this movie.

Admittingly, the plot is nothing special, but with a brilliant cast and great script, they've made it something special.

I disagree... I thought this movie was pretty good. I saw it on HBO or something around 2000, and was really excited that they showed it again a few months ago. Yeah, it's not great, but it's pretty fun.

This film is a classic. The OP obviously doesn't have the mental capacity to acknowledge any humour involved.

Yeah... this movie is just beyond comparison because of it's greatness.

Love horror movies, love smoking weed. This movie is awesome. It's like if you took the possessed hand scene from Evil Dead and made it into a whole movie. saweet! Plus the occasional Romero clip on the tv is pretty cool.

I actually loved the movie, but why all the hostility towards the OP? Do you really feel the need to bring them down to defend this movie? If YOU like the movie, then why isn't that enough, why does everyone else have to like it too? Having said that, this movie isn't the best thing that I've ever seen, but I liked it alot (seen it probably 15 times in my life). Haven't seen Devon Sawa in anything else though (Except as Shawn in SLC Punk), and he should be lol

Well, I can't speak for the rest of the posters, but it is obviuos from the original posters comments that he really didn't pay much attention to the movie. I have no problem with people liking what they like, but if you are going to put yourself in the public eye with your critique, you really ought to have the details of what you are critiquing.
