What, 24/7 his whole life? Also, you really don't need to take it seriously, it's meant to be a silly horror comedy.

he can't the hand needs to kill if its in one place too long the devil just relocates to another lazy person killing the host thats why the guy in the jail when the sister saw him was dead.
