has no name in the movie,at least no one calls him by name but he is credited as Angel Face here. What kind of a name? Anyways,my question is what was the point of his character?Some special significance?Unnaturally awful yellowish hair(TOO BLOND) and then his face gets completely disfigured, horribly in fact, after the fight with Tyler. What are your thoughts on it? Please share.

I guess he was not popular by then.Tyler(Norton) says he smashed his face 'cause he wanted to destroy something beautiful. So Leto was playing an eye candy? Blond=Beautiful?

"Angel Face" is the character's name in the book, if I recall correctly. It's just a nickname because he's pretty, I guess.

I think his point was to further show how Norton's character is bitter and insecure (which is why he created Tyler in the first place). He saw Angel Face's looks, and the attention Tyler was giving him, and got jealous.
