just some Houston trivia

Near the end when the van then Faraday's car drive down the ramp into the basement parking of the Washington D.C. parking area ... that was actually filmed in downtown Houston. That building and parking area are at the bottom of One Shell Plaza, for those familiar with downtown it is at the corner of Walker and Louisiana streets.

My last day working in that building, June 1996, my car was in that same underground parking area, loading up my boxes to bring home!

Cool.

When I was watching the movie, I noticed the Arlington Road looked incredibly familiar...the design of the houses, the numbers on the houses...houses in movies and TV shows don't generally look like Texas. Sure, enough, when I looked it up it was filmed in suburb of Houston.

I'm here to proudly announce: "I just don't know."

I'm very familiar with Texas cities and I thought that skyline looked familiar, and the fact that Washington doesn't have Towering skyscrapers like Houston.

thanks, the home neighborhood looked more like a Texas suburb than DC, but still a great film
