I saw The Game when I was younger and thought it was great. My buddy watched Arlington Road and had the same reaction. Below is a link to our podcast. Both movies start off intriguing and you are immersed in the events about to unfold.
The real divergence between the two is the ending. Where Arlington Road excels in an ending with thrills and unexpected consequences, the Game just nosedives to an ending soon forgettable. For me, Arlington 1, the Game 0.
The Game 100% for me, Arlington Road is great, but the ending of The Game *beep* me up, The Game is one of those movies where the first time experience of watching it is soooo great. I had dreams about being in The Game. The ending really *beep* me up.
Arlington Road is great, but a little predictable IMO

I thought both movies were great.Arlington Road's ending was amazing but overall The Game as a whole was a more satisfying movie.
