shareYeah I stayed up to watch it last night. I certainly think it was worth watching. One of the better scifi/horror hybrids I've seen.
I wonder is James Spader a scifi fan.
I stayed up to watch it aswell, but before I watched it I checked out its ratings on IMDB .. which only enhanced my curiosity about this movie because the reviews were all over the place.
Just posted my own review of it here if anyone is intersted (http://imdb.com/title/tt0134983/usercomments-254), but overall I quite enjoyed the movie. Spader was great, and the interaction between him and the crazy super human guy when Spader's character FINALLY got back to the ship was worth sitting through all the tripe with Lou-diamond and Robin for.
I agree that if Serenity is sitting on 8/10, Supernova deserves much more then a 4/10 (even The Phantom Menace is sitting on 6.3/10). Some entire series' of Star Trek TNG were far less watchable then Supernova, but they're still reveared.
