Absolutely the *BEST* cinematic FTL sequence ever!
While this film was somewhat of a let-down in many ways (That said, I didn't personally think it was terrible, I just think it's ok) - it undoubtedly had some of the best faster-than-light visual effects I've ever seen.
I even liked the name of their form of FTL propulsion, "Dimension Jumping". Clichéd soft-core technobabble, yes - but still cool sounding!
To hate another simply for proving you to be in the wrong is the lowest form of cowardice...
