Just saw this movie Supernova on Fox today. I didn't realize it but now I know Angela Bassett is the star of the movie.And Angela did an amazing job as the female lead.

She's very good. I'm glad that Kayla is rewarded for risking everything to save Nick.

She sucked, like she always does. Spader was the real lead.

Yes, Angela Bassett's performance was excellent and I'm glad she didn't get robbed of a happily ever after too.

She was very good - Spader did well as a sort of grimjawed hero, but Bassett was the most convincing as a human character.
