The trailer...

I just watched that trailer and came here just to see if anybody else posted about it, because yes, it was that bad! It reminded me of one of those joke trailers you see on YouTube (like The Shining set to that Peter Gabriel song), didn't match the tone of the film at all. I watched it to see if it would give some clue as to why the movie bombed so bad. There's our answer!

Ha! Lol, I came here just to see if anyone else had posted about how bad the trailer was. I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out, but I don't remember ever seeing the trailer. I've had it on DVD for years but have never even put it on until today, and when it was over, I watched the special features which had the trailer, and it was hysterical! It did look just like one of those YouTube spoof trailers. I was halfway expecting to see Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson being chased around the spaceship by some old lady swinging her purse!
