Why I watched SUPERNOVA over 180 Times !!!

You gotta be god dang nuts to dislike this film!

I saw this film on-shelf several years ago at SUNGHOST video, It grabbed
my attention every time I went and looked in their SCI-FI section!

Finally, since James Spader was in it, I knew that it
was a Necessary purchase.

I first watched it , it was freakin' AWESOME, as it was every time
thereafter...

I was SO FREAKED OUT by the fact that the Galaxy was burning up that
I was afraid to take the disc out of the drive, so I left it in and
watched it again later. I ended up watching it (after touching the disc)
TWICE a day for at least 3 months ... about 10am and 3pm daily!

It is COOL, because:
The EXTRA's that FREAKY squeaky guy in the Airlocked room, and the way
you just saw his head sitting there looking at the floor behind that
iron gate. Then when he started talking, man I was freakin the frell out!

You know how every couple of years, or films later, you say "Man...that
was Thee BEST film that I EVER SAW!"

Well, I said that in like 2002 when I bought it, and I have seen
many films but "SUPERNOVA is STILL Thee BEST film that I EVER SAW"
It is FREAKIN' SUPERCOOL! Give it a god dang 10 out of 10! ALSO!

I can't wait to see you on cops, barricaded in a small house covered in *beep* yelling about jesus.

Quality tv, i'd rate that 9.0

These replies are unsatisfactory and irrelevant.

My message is supposed to make ppl want to go enjoy
the film and those who gave it poor reviews see the
error of their ways.

14 of 60, damn!

Ya know what ! I bet the reason it failed was...did you ever see the Movies TRAILER...
It is actually HORRIBLE and the Music is Terrible. It is totally mixed up, and does not
really want to make you see it. That must be why. ALSO, there are scenes in the trailer not in the film.

Dig This: On one of the SECRET SCENES Included with the DVD, the computer originally said, it would take 250 some years for the SuperNova to reach SOL.

be sure to watch those EXTRA's especially the Freaky Squeaky Guy

Now, dont get me wrong, i do respect your opinion, but i saw this in theaters on release, and just recently again on DVD cuz a friend wanted to see it...It was a great movie untill about 2 thirds in. Then it just got horrible. Bad enough that its almost unwatchable. Couple that with the poor editing and plot holes so big you can drive a truck through themm and i cant blame the critics for giving it bad reviews. Im not a movie snob by any stretch of the imagination. I believe that to watch a movie you must turn off that logical side of your brain and let the film take you were it wants you to go, but thinking back on it, the plot holes were huge. But then again, my biggest problem with this movie is my "let it take you..." attitude. The movie takes you so far, and does it so well, and then just dropps you off..the ride doesnt end, there is no real climax, its just kinda...eh...its over now...and im left with this incomplete feeling and wondering why i dont like a movie now that its over that i loved when it started....Anyway, thats my opinion.

SuperNova only gets more exciting as it goes,

and WHAT plot holes ?

While I am reasonably sure AreYouWetYet is no longer with us (after all, how many times can one "freakin the frell out"?), I could not help but wonder if it is even remotely possible that he is still watching this movie twice a day every day since 2002. Let's look at the numbers, and we'll forget about February 29th every four years just to keep it simpler:

365 days X twice a day = watching 730 times a year.

730 times a year for the last 22 years = 16,060 viewings! (Can DVD's wear out from over-use?)

I'm sure even Kowalski would find that impressive - have you seen this Kowalski?

Makes one wonder what AreYouWetYet did to earn a living, and when he had time to do so!
