Does anyone know if this was the only movie before the next generation came out? Coz in the first episode of tng joey was talking about julia........ was that ever explained how he met her????? and it looked like joey was dating lucy......

yes this was the only movie before DTNG. After Degrassi High ended, they filmed this movie, and it came out a year later. But ten years later, a couple of the characters came back for a reunion aka, the first episode of Degrassi the next generation. But Joey didn't really mention how he met Julia. All we know is that he married her after schools out, and they later had Angela, his daughter, but a year before the reunion, his wife died. And as for lucy, they weren't dating, he was trying to sell her a car. lol
But i can understand how you would think they were dating because they seemed close and acted like they were BFF lol That was probably one thing that bothered me at the reunion episode; how they all acted like they were a group who always hung out in high school, yet their barely talked besides Joey and Snake. Spike and Caitlin and Lucy acted like they were biffs, meanwhile they spoke like once to each other during the series. lol But thats sort of Degrassi for you, whenever theirs a reunion, they always get old cast members back and make em biffs with people they never talked to. Example with Season 9 so far; Manny and Jane, and Marco and Holly J.
