yea i always had a soft spot for tessa. i thought she was a sweetheart in degrassi high and seemed like a nice girl. i also liked how she didn't just lead guys on. like alex, for example, when she realized she didn't like him anymore and had a thing for yick instead, she ended it. cruel yes, but at least she didn't lead him on. she seems like the type of girl who gets really vulnerable around guys she likes and would do anything for them. i felt sorry for her too because she really was a nice girl. i didn't like caitlin all that much...she just was kinda snobby.

I can't believe it! Finally an intelligent opinion. I was despairing as I read this thread. People wrongly accusing Tessa of dating Joey knowing he was with Caitlin, when clearly, she knew NO such thing! The movie SHOWS that Tessa DID NOT KNOW she was being two-timed. As if she would have been with Joey if she knew he was still with Caitlin. Come on, are these people for real? They are blaming her, when she and Caitlin knew nothing of each are and were the innocent victims. I was thinking of quoting what Spike said when others accused Tessa of being a slut, for making love to who she thought was her boyfriend, but forgot about it by the time I hit send. Like Spike said, "if you're easy, he's easy". Or, if Tessa is a 'slut', so is Joey. Actually, since Joey was the only one out of him and Tessa who was sleeping with more than one person at once, clearly, the only slut was Joey.

And the whole 'skimpy' clothing? Urm, other characters of Degrassi wore even skimpier clothing than Tessa. And wearing skimpy clothing does NOT make you 'easy'. As a female, I was disgusted and disturbed at some of the sexist and offensive rubbish I have read on this thread, so am so glad you came on and said what you said. And from a guy, which really shows up the women on here. Any woman would be lucky to have an honorable guy like you.
