No, the parents weren't brainwashed. But if you'd just been involved in an incident in which over a dozen teenagers had plunged to their deaths, and you didn't know if your story about them being a bunch of mind-controlled murderers was going to be believed by the authorities (especially with the dead students' distraught, bereaved parents screaming for you to be sent to the chair), wouldn't you want to get as far away as possible?
shareno i wouldn't. I would blame the incident on teenage drunk driving. come on, its totally believable. those clean cut blue ribbon kids had to be total lightweights!
