Who thought that this movie had a great soundtrack but no song was played at the right time? lol It's like the editors called the guy in charge of the songs and said, "Hey you were supposed to have the songs here an hour ago! Are they ready?" And the song guy just picked up 2 mixtapes and ran out the house lol That just bugged me esp when they had a slow song on a part where the music should have been hardcore. Only John Woo can pull that off properly lol
Darn it, there I was hoping for the conclusion of that tantalising title "...who thinks this is rather a fitting parody of the real-life situation of elite masters lying latent in society controlling its needs, staging all the major world terrorist events, while using the media to pollute its intelligence by controlling knowledge about everything, creating a mindless obsession with celebrity, all to forward nicely its destination toward a one world government in which all except the elite become enslaved to the elite's needs?" Ah well. Back out there looking for other survivors...

Sorry to dissappoint you. I didn't feel the need to be as verbose as you are and also really didn't see the need to put my mind that far into a movie that I pretty much hated. Although I see your point, there is no reason for me to comment on the plot when the songs were the most interesting part of this crap. Well that and Nick Stahl.
Oh I can apply my mind deeply into many things.....just not crappy movies. Sorry. I'd rather spend my time wraping my mind around movies worth the effort. I just hold myself to a higher standard
So time spent wrapping your mind around things is not worth the effort in general? And "mind-wrapping" takes some form of effort? For me it comes naturally. That's a high standard. Even movies you consider "crappy" have some underlying message. How much you pick up that message determines how "crappy" some thing is in itself.

No the only effort that crap fest was worth was listening to the music and watching nick stahl. Don't get me wrong in understood the "message" in this suck-a-thon, I'd just don't feel like analyzing it, my time is better spent on the other good movies that have the same concept. And honestly if YOU didn't like this thread or my opinion about this trash, you didn't HAVE to reply. Sorry if I offend but we are both adults. GO to a thread where people prasie this movie!! I'm sure there are a few. I just hated it!
No I did like the thread...anyone would with that leading title. I didn't like the movie, I have to say now, but I did like the concept. That's what I mean. That was its saving grace, a critique on the compartmentalisation of society and especially the elitism that goes on in universities.

There were so many better movies to depict this. Do you know what I mean? Stepford wives was much better. Invasion of the body snatchers is a great one. Hey even the Faculty will work. This one was just too.....blah for me lol...sorry for the use of blah but it was the only thing that would explain how I felt during this movie lol. But after watching it again....do you agree with me with the music? ha
Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them. I don't give a *beep* how crazy they are!!
Oh definitely - the music didn't fit with the scenery or reflect the mood it was trying to cover. Like an audiovisual experiment gone wrong. A bit like the concept really, the plot didn't match it or portray it too well, ha.
