style of opening title/credits sequence (awesome)

the opening sequence was really striking to me. The flickering text, the flashing lights, etc... I think it was a fairly early example of that kind of approach. It has been done pretty often since then, but at the time it was pretty innovative.

I liked it a lot. anyone with me?

I do agree with you. It really captured my interest. It helped set up the rest of the movie, which I thought was pretty good.
