90s

I miss the 90s (my teen years)
Disturbing Behaviour, The Faculty, Scream, I know what you did.. , Cruel Intentions, Teaching Mrs. Tingle (:P) The Craft.

What movies did you get into during the 90s?

All of those plus Varsity Blues, Half Baked, Dr Giggles, Bride of Chucky, South Park, American Pie basicly the same thing all of us that were teens then watched. went back watched some 80's horror I had never seen

How could I forget Bride of Chucky :p can't say I really got into American Pie unfortunately. I'm going to add Arachnophobia to the list coz it still gives me the fkn creeps to this day.

I've hated spiders ever since I seen it.

Empire Records. The Mask with Jim Carrey. Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler. Tommyboy and Black Sheep with Chris Farley and David Spade. Wayne's World with Dana Carvey and Mike Myers. A lot of the best movies had SNL and In Living Color cast members.

I would watch some of the phone scenes from Scream almost every day. Other favorites: The Faculty, Disturbing Behavior, IKWYDLS, Empire Records, Varsity Blues, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Clerks, Can't Hardly Wait, Pump Up the Volume.
I'm sure there are many more that I can't remember right now. Some non-90s movies I really liked: Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Three O'Clock High, Heathers, The Night Before, The Bill and Ted movies (one of them was from the 90s wasn't it?), The Lost Boys.

There's tons more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

HAHA! Dr. Giggles! I loved that movie!

Thanks for reminding me of it!

You say you love 90's movies Melissa, and then you go on to list movies that all came out in 2000 or later. So you must not know what a 90's movie is since everything you listed came out in the 2000's.

What made these movies even better, was the less available information about them. Now, before I've seen a film, I've read yearly updates, passing commentary in forums, etc. And to think, i'm still young..

I was born in 82, graduated highschool in 2000 so I remember watching a lot of movies in the late 90s.

such as -

Dead Man on Campus
American Pie
Cruel Intentions
Can't Hardly Wait
Varsity Blues
She's All That
The Faculty
Scream 1&2
Idle Hands &
Disturbing Behavior.

all highschool/college related.

90s movies were the best, god I miss those days. classic

The 90s were awesome; so many films I remember from that time (even remember the tv commercials advertising a bunch of them).

Batman Forever
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Disturbing Behavior
Batman Returns
The Mangler
Graveyard Shift
Needful Things
Silence of the Lambs
Halloween 6
Halloween H20

I could go on and on :)

Me too. I'm actually producing a film right now, The Babysitter, that's part homage to 90's teen horror films.

Check it out...
