It's almost as if Schumacher was motivated to something really good after batman and robin and also the complete opposite. Tigerland and Phone Booth give me that impression as well.

I LOVE 8MM...IT ISN'T ONE OF MY TOP 100 FILMS ALL TIME...BUT IT MOST ASSUREDLY WOULD MAKE THE TOP 200.

I watched it twice. At first viewing, around the time it came to video, I found it fascinating. The rewatch was a bit boring. My perception on how the world values life or does not impacted the rewatch I think. Earlier it seemed more value was placed on life and it made the stakes higher.
